As well as the benefits offered to all employees, the following additional benefits are offered to senior managers:

Performance Management and Pay

The Council has a broad band pay structure. There is the potential to progress through increased performance, contribution and development. Progression through the steps of the Broad Band will be dependent on performance and contribution through key objectives, competencies and professional standards in line with the Council's Performance Management Framework. Performance will be assessed on an annual cycle.

Car Hire Scheme

The Council makes a monthly contribution towards the cost of a lease hire car. The package includes comprehensive insurance and maintenance costs, vehicle licence and AA membership.

Free Private Health Insurance

The scheme provides family, married or individual insurance cover. The contributions have to be declared for tax purposes and are taxed at source.

Professional Subscriptions

We will reimburse the cost of one relevant professional subscription each year.

Relocation Expenses

The Council is prepared to pay relocation expenses (currently up to £5,000) in accordance with its policy.

Mortgage Subsidy

Available to those moving from at least a one hundred mile radius of Westminster to a location within fifty miles. The subsidy is liable for income tax. Details available on request.

Holidays

30 days paid holiday.
